The 13th edition of Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo, a three-day show from 18th - 20th September 2019, held at the India Expo Centre Mart, Greater Noida was organised by Informa Markets in India (Formerly UBM India).
The event saw the participation of 36909 visitors and 243 speakers, leading international stakeholders and experts from across the globe. More than 729 exhibitors from 45+ countries showcased their innovations and solutions for the Indian market. From Germany, more than 30 companies demonstrated their commitment to the Indian market as exhibitors.
The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) organised the German Pavilion in collaboration and supported by the Indo- German Energy Forum (IGEF) Support Office at this exhibition. The German companies who participated had the opportunity to showcase their company’s products or services and had market access to one of the world’s largest renewable energy markets.
The German pavilion was inaugurated on the first day of the expo by Dr. Joerg Polster, Head of Department for Economic & Global Affairs, German Embassy together with heads of leading associations TERI, GIZ and IGCC with the lighting of the lamp and cutting of the ribbon. The importance of renewable energy in the current scenario was discussed in detail and visitors were guided to meet the German companies present to know about the innovations in renewable energy.
This year again, the German pavilion at REI had an attractive feature called the “Speaker’s Corner”. Several presentations by sector experts were hosted at the speakers’ corner.
Across three days, 28 Indian and International energy experts took part in the discussions and presentations enhancing knowledge of the participants and visitors alike. Highlights were the presentations from Deutsche
Windguard, Enerparc, NSEFI, MBJ Solution GmbH, Semikron, Siemens, TUV Rheinland (India).
In addition, the companies also had access to a meeting room and lounge facilities to conduct B2B meetings at the pavilion. The REI expo provided all the required forums to increase business and network with the right people.
